Pure Food Norway AS (PFN) was established in 2014. The initiators all have long running backgrounds from production, trade and nutrition. PFN was created when the initiators decided to collaborate on new developments and the production of new, healthy and nutritious products. Gluten-free and organic food is a high priority.
Pure Food Norway AS (PFN) will develop, produce and market vegetable sprouts and further developed new PureFood products as part of a total concept that puts health and correct diet in focus.
In cooperation with the expertise in Norway and abroad we aim to make the concept and the products attractive for customer groups within the grocery and large kitchens, industrial and doctors/therapists/health food.
Pure Food Norway aims to be the best within quality and food safety. Modern technology and control routines will give us safe products and ensure traceability.
Production of sprouts was started a few years ago, but today PFN works with Norske Spirer on the production of organic sprouts in Norway. Sprouts are today a commodity and an important raw material for PFN when new products are developed. PFN operates an extensive product development in Norway, Czech Republic and the Netherlands. The Research Council supports development projects at PFN, and "Food as medicine" is the starting point for the "PureFood" products offered in the food industry or marketed as "PureFood" through the grocery market.
